Browsing the Motoring section of well known consumer web (MSE) site I came across this link:

Doesn't make for happy reading and don't think I will be hiring any cars from them !

Edit: Argh link as shown doesn't work: Stars should be replaced by 'iss' as in urine !

If only all Car Hire companies operated like Autoreisen. But unfortunately they only cover the Canary Islands.
With a Which customer rating nearing 90% no other company comes anywhere near. Almost worth booking a holiday in the Canaries.
In the mean time I use a broker called Zest which were previously known as Economy Care Hire and again were awarded top rating in Which.

I use these people in Malaga. Book online, send details of licence etc and address in Costas and the price you see on screen will be the the price you pay. NO EXTRAS...

Discount for cash...

cars not all new, some with dents, but zero problems..

The Perils of Car Hire - TomoFife

I use GM every week and have done since June 2017 - used four branches so far.

Never had an issue with them, although do see many many bad reviews of them.
