I'm looking to replace springs on a couple of Fiestas - will be using Ford's own shocks as they're cost effective enough, but their coil springs are ridiculously pricey when compared to all other makes.

As TRW, Sachs and Boge are all part of the ZF group, is there much difference in the levels of quality and reliability of their shock absorbers and coil springs, from 'brand' to 'brand'?

What other brands are worth looking at - any advice or warnings concerning the likes of KYB, Kilen, Febi Bilstein - or any other recommendations will be much appreciated.
