Where on this engine is the oil filter position?

Could be on top of the engine,under engine cover(if fitted) drive belt end,or down the front ,near cooling fan.If you are thinking of draining the oil,this car may have a plastic oil sump with a turn screw drain plug.I would use a genuine VW oil filter only.

The 1.4tsi 150 has the later EA211 engine so the filter is at low level (bottom front right)

It's the older EA111 engine (not 150) that has the high level oil filter (top left , visible with bonnet up)

With both engines - use original equipment oil fitlers - important!
