Sorry to see the Falcon go. I have been running a Falcon station wagon for eleven years now. Big, strong, spacious. I converted it to LP gas and it is as cheap to run as a little hatchback and much more comfortable for long country trips. The 4 litre engine is a gem. DOHC with a timing chain. Lots of power for overtaking or for towing. It isn't modern or sophisticated. It doesn't have DSG, DMF or touch screen. No Bluetooth either. I don't miss any of those. It is cheap to run, cheap to repair and will swallow crates of junk, suitcases, paving slabs, the dog and a box of stuff for him. I would buy another Falcon station wagon tomorrow but they stopped making them 5 years ago and now they have stopped the sedan.
