Ford Focus 1.6 TDCI 2005 - LCD on odometer and Raido not turning off - 3puddings

The LCD on the odometer and teh LCD on teh raido does not turn off after I turn the engine off and remove the keys, also the radio will turn itself on whit the key out of the ignition. I am assuming that tjhis is a relay fault?

Not a relay,

that function is controled by the ECU,

Get a global scan done for faults.

Dash display can stay on for around 30 mins,which is normal for these late Ford models.Does it go off at all?

They normally started to fade as soon as I closed the door, more worryiong is the tendancy of the radio to switch itself on, I'm sure they are all related and doubt that this is an ECU fault.

I didn't state it wa an ECU fault,

I stated it needed a global scan,

Like a lot of modern vehicles the various modules are interconnected.

The dash module,the intertainment module...............on and on.

I can turn on the radio from my laptop.

A global scan checks EVERY connected module for any recorded faults
