Hello folks,
I'm currently doing front brake pads on 09 Seat Ibiza with FSIII calipers. The caliper pins on one side were stuck and far too tight, eventually got them loose however they are now spinning without coming out.
The caliper pins are 7mm allen pins with a smooth cylinder and a screw at the end so I can't get grip to pull them whilst turning and there is no head to pry on. I've tried getting a screwdriver in through the brake caliper and pushing on the end of the screw but I can't get enough force. Not a big fan of this caliper pin design!!!
I don't know if the thread on the pin is stripped. What can I do to get the pins out?
Thanks, Adam
