Mini Countryman All4 Cooper S - Electrical issues - galesa

2011 car, 9000 miles, no previous problems.

Started it yesterday and lights came on, could not turn off, indicators/hazards, front electric windows not working.

Turn off engine lights do not work at all.

Booked it in at Mini Garage for end of week but they say they have never come across this problem.

Any ideas?

First thing to look at is battery condition.

Less than 2,500 miles a year may mean it has suffered from not being kept fully charged.

Thanks, there is no problem with the battery on starting the car and when running even if the battery was poor would not the alternator be providing sufficient power for all the electrics.

Could be a problem with the front footwell module.all these consumers are controlled by this.

I think you may be right, I've looked on the Internet and the FRM does cover those functions. £500+ to replace !!!!!!!
