Their is a smell of rubber or burning type smell when starting car in morning asnd running engine for about five minutes. The rubber smell is there before I drive the car.

I noticed the rubber smell after I had a new Cat exhaust fitted to the Rover car and not before the cat exhaust was fitted.

Or could it be the clutch ?

Any ideas anyone out there ?
