Ford focus - Engine malfunction - amwiwa
Ford Focus 2008 1.6 tdci zetec I have engine malfunction coming on when I start the vehicle . No loss of power or other symptoms . I can drive 100 yards down the road flick ignition switch on /off and it will clear , but if I stop and then restart the fault re appears . There is no fault codes that show on dash for this fault

It is unlikely to show any fault codes on the dash display.You will need to get the engine control system analysed through the diagnostic system.If driveability is ok,then it could be glow plug issues.

You can check fault codes on the focus by holding in the button on the left stalk
