Battery charger queries..I seek your advice please - KB.

I recently added to a "Battery Charger" topic in "Technical".

Is it OK with Avant if I ask anyone with advice to have a look at the post (18th Oct. @ 1834hrs) and offer any advice to me. Thanks.

Forget Aldi and Lidl and get a CTEK battery charger, they are the best. I've been using one for several years and I'm delighted with it. It will liven up an old battery most impressivly.

I've got this one www.ctekchargers.co.uk/ctek-mxs-70.php

It is brilliant!

I've got both a CTEK and an Aldi - the CTEK is better, but only marginally - at a third if the price the Aldi, or Lidl, charger is hugely better value.

Thank you, Avant.

Whilst, up to yesterday, I haven't had cause to use a charger of any sort since I stopped running in Bangernomic mode, I did ring Aldi Customer Service, who were more than helpful and advised good stocks in both Exeter stores. I mentioned

this to a neighbour who fancies one himself and, for the sake of £13.99, I thought it'll do no harm to have one...so, hopefully, he'll do the deed tomorrow. Ordinarily I'd go for the CTEK but in reality i might not have cause to ever use it, but, as I say, it's hardly a fortune and might come in handy one day.

Thanks for the advice and assistance.
