Ford Mondeo ST 2006 - Dasboard display backlighting - howy868

The backlight to the computer display has failed so it' s difficult to read the LCD characters - can anyone advise if the backlighting bulbs on the display module are replaceable.

Yes ,all the dash illumination bulbs are replaceable,but they are a special bulb and holder assy.I think only available from Ford dealer.

Thanks for that - now I know it's worth the trouble of taking out the instrument panel.
