Rover 25 - Both brake light, and reversing lights not working - Delysher

Both brake lights and clear reversing lights not working on my Rover 25. W - reg Year 2000 Any ideas

Firstly have you checked the bulbs? I know its unlikely that they ahve all gone but its possible. There could be two seperate faults the only common one is likely to be a break in the wires between the body and tailgate - if the lights are in the tailgate. Otherwise have you checked the fuses?

Possible but I would have thought that would have affected the tail lighs as well.

As Peter mentioned,its more likely to be broken wires between body/tailgate they are so tightly installed they stretch and snap,not many dont suffer this problem

Unlikely to broken tailgate wires,as the only lights in the tailgate/boot are for the number plate lights.
