Coupe 4 seats - Car Buying Advice - shaz408

Hi Guys,

I am in market to buy a car under 50k.

we are couple and occasional friends and family visiting us. We need 4 seats, don’t care if the back seat are not big or less space, happy with xkr back seats.

we need coupe with 4 seats something with killer looks likes Jaguar XKR.

cars could be 1 to 2 years old with 10k millage

I am lookign at cars:

Jaguar XKR

Merc E Class Cabriolet

BMW 6 series

Please shed some lights on the above choices pro and cons especially where i will be if i want to change car in 2 year again and if there is any better option/car availble.

Any of those choices, if you spend £50k on it now, and want to change it in 2 years, you'll be down to £30k at best.

All three are great cars, so any opinions would be very subjective.

Jag seem to have got their reliability issues sorted in recent years, the 6 series looks great and the E Class cabriolet just beat the new 4 series coupe in a What Car? test.

Heart says Jag, head says Mercedes.

Get test driving and pick the one which you like best!
