Hi, i had to get towed back the other night by the AA when my golf chose to spit its engine oil out every where. Got it home and found an oil switch on the oil filter housing was pumping out oil at a fair rate, changed the switch but have noticed i've also got a much slower but continuous (leaks when engine off) leak at the back of the engine (haven't located source yet).

Is it likely that something has caused these two leaks to happen as i find it unlikely that they both developed on the same journey? I would be very grateful for any ideas.
