I hope your documentary highlights the shocking infastructure we have in this country. We still have 3 lane motor ways when car ownership has gone through the roof.

As someone who does two 240 mile journeys a week (including junction 1 - 21A on the M6 and the M42/Toll or M42/M5 (depending on which has the least worst congestion problems!)) I am astonished how nothing has been done in this respect, but the HS2 is having billions ploughed into it?!?. Managed motorways won't solve the problem, extra lanes/new motorways (which you shouldn't have to pay a toll to use!) are required to meet the demand. 80 miles on the M6 taking 2:30/3 hours every week is worse infrastructure than most 3 world countries.

I'm not interested in being in your program, but hope you have people representing those of use who have to suffer through this on a regular basis... and that's without any major incidents or accidents!
