Honda civic automatic - Free rev ving - strickjumpers

Hello,

my 1998 civic AUTOMATIC 1.4 has started revving of its own accord (no pun intended) when in park or neutral, any advice on repairing this, bit worrried its ECU, thanks, Mike.

Highly unlikely to be the ecu.Have you checked the engine coolant level?
