Hi been having a problem with this for the last few weeks it started with putting it in reverse or first when first started it would crunch or just refuse to go in when you got it in gear it would clear and drive normaly for days today it went into gear ok from cold start but after doing approx 10 miles while driving, it refused to go in any gear moving or stationary when i did manged to get it into gear it would drive normally and then when i pulled on drive it locked up again and stalled and then cleared again the car has done 100,000 miles the clutch fluid is on max the biting point on the clutch is also low any help with this problem would be very welcome thanks

Sounds like a clutch problem, its intermittently failing to disengage properly.

Do you think it may be the Release bearing

Hyundais from the late 90's upto 2003 suffered from syncro problems.

It was especially true of the accent and elantra.
