Suarez - Trilogy

If Liverpool appeal I'd double the ban. Liverpool FC was once held in high regard. Not any more. Sell the man and get another.

Oh for goodness sake untwist your girlypants. There was none of this fuss when Jermain Defoe bit Javier Mascherano in 2006, he just got a yellow card and the world moved on. All this case shows is the FA's disciplinary proceedings are bonkers. If Suarez had been sent off on Sunday, the FA would not be able to take further action due to 'the referee having seen it' and he'd have a three game ban.

Yes - get another Suarez would be a novel idea

Unfortunantly the most similar type of player right now to Suarez is Tevez; and even then I rate Suarez higher as a player

In an ideal world Liverpool would get rid of him, but if they do - their chance of European qualification will most likely go with him

Because of his previous history of biting and racism , I think he was always likely to be dropped on from a great height, regardless of the previous punishments for this offence- and rightly so.

This 'if he did that in the street he'd be nicked' argument gets tiresome. You'd probably get arrested if you kicked a ball at someone in the street too.

Nahh sorry; biting is well out of the bounds of what might happen in a game. I also wasn't getting at the 'in the street....' argument; that'd be up to the victim to press charges too.
