It wa serviced at VW main dealer in Merthyr and is still under this service schedule.

At 50000 miles a puff of white smoke came out of the exhaust the car lost power and stopped.

we were advised by vw that the engine was u/s and we had another fitted elsewhere.

Vw UK have washed their hands and don,t want to know.

At the very lease i expect a vw recall to service the tamdam pump and stop diesel leaking into the engine and then the engine destruction.
