I'm using Chrome+ABP and only ad I'm seeing is the one streaming a list of second hand vehicles. Not as intrusive as the regular stuff which includes dating sites.

A few weeks ago I had an interview for a job with one of the companies that manages bids from sellers to place ads on web sites. Apparently it is quite lucrative, they had just moved in to a new bigger office, and were already looking for an even bigger one.
