Interesting to note that my insurer, Vitality, has written to me stating that they are withdrawing from offering car insurance due to 'unprecedented claims inflation'.

Now I have to mess around finding a new company. Obviously, I'm expecting a higher premium this time.

That will be true whatever...it's bonkers out there.

Last year my wife's 3 year old Yaris was £206 from eSure...their new quote £392..!

Nothing has changed from last year and no claims made.

Tesco quoted £228 for same cover...so that's where she went.

It seems some simply do not want your business.
