Fiat Doblo van 53 plate - Aerial mount query - Cornish Lass

Hi All,

Just picked up a 53 plate Doblo, and its slightly taller than previous van, so the roof aerial hits our car port. Have to unscrew the whip every time we put it under cover, which is a pain. The mount is factory and looking online, it should be able to tilt, to angle it back lower against the roof, but it won't budge. Don't want to force it and break anything, so wondering if we need to access the mount from underneath to release the tilt mechanism, then lock it again at the new angle. I think we can access through the interior light fitting. Should it just move from the outside or not?

Any advice appreciated. Thanks :)

Looks like it should move up and down , think it’s the same as a Punto aerial. If it doesn’t move it’s likely to be seized . Try taking it off the roof to see if it will free off . Don’t think it’s very expensive if it breaks .
