Dashcam as CCTV - Warning

There is a bit of fly tripping near where I live. I need to place a camera in my car and point to the problem area.

I do have Yi Camera, which are great for indoor CCTV. I can't use it in the car, as it will not run off a USB power bank.

Just wondering if I can use a car dash cam (powered by a power bank?)

No reason why it shouldn’t work . Not sure how long the power bank would last .

There might be legal implications filming members of the public but otherwise, setting up a £50 wildlife camera might be a better solution.
