For the last few weeks I've been scouring dealerships in search for a new car and I think I've settled on the Honda Civic. Nothing too fancy but a reliable vehicle to get me around. Everywhere I go, they keep trying to upsell me on "Honda Care". Supposedly it's a one-time fee you pay that guarantees replacement of any parts that malfunction unexpectedly. Sounds great in theory, but should I really have to pay an additional $2,500 on top of the vehicle price? I'm very skeptical with a ton of questions that I'll list here:
Is this worth the extra price? How long does it last? Can I find similar/cheaper warranties? Do most Honda owners get Honda Care?
Appreciate any advice or information!
