Citroen despatch blue hdi 1.6 - Cambelt broken causing damage - Steph CP

I purchased a van from a dealer 4 months ago, the cambelt as snapped and caused engine damage, the van is a 2017 with 74k on clock at time of purchase, I've done less than 3k since purchase, do I have any claim for the repairs from the dealer?

I would think so . The van should be covered under the legal 6 months warranty a dealer has to offer .

Was the car bought for personal use or business use?

Consumer law is 6 months cover - business to business will be different IMHO

What's the cambelt history on the vehicle? Guessing its still the original, which should be OK, but I'd check change mileage and age recommendations.

Standard manufacturers warranty - Mileage: 100000

Standard manufacturers warranty - Years: 3

Depends if its one of those "whichever comes first" warranties.
