BMW X1 F48 2018. 1.5 petrol auto - Only warm air coming from heater - Redcar01

Hi All.

Just driven 150 miles on the motorway 70 mph all they way and the heater would not blow hot air, only tepid even when set to 26 degrees. A/C ( cold ) seems ok tried various setting but no change, anybody got any ideas what is wrong Just wondered before I book into dealer

Possibly a fault with the engine coolant not reaching temperature? Thermostat in trouble? Don’t suppose it has an engine temp gauge fitted ?

Digital one on the screen but it show its ok and in the middle when I drive to work 8 miles, it seems to get worm now at 24 degrees but doesn't really seem hot as I would expect ar 24 degrees
