Daughter involved in RTC - Lanny

Evening all

My Daughter was involved in an RTC last week. She was a front seat passenger in her friends car and they were travellimg at approx 20-25mph as they had been waiting at traffic lights and so had not been set off long when the collison occured.

Idiot in car that hit them was in the same lane about 3 or 4 cars behind them thrn moved into right lane (its a dual carriage way with 2 sets of traffic lights at the bottom. One set to go straight on and another set to bear right). Hes been lane weaving, ended up in right hand lane then smashed into the back drivers side of their car sending tjem spinning clockwise up the road, theyve smashed into traffic lights on their right hand side knocking them over. Drivers front wheel completely ripped off along with some of bonnet and headlight was on floor, passenger door caved in (daughter couldnt open it, had to climb out of window) passenger door window smashed as well as windscreen on passenger side. No skid marks on road.

Onky damage to his car was front wing damage, car still drivable.

Theres more to it than meets the eye but dont really want to go into much detail other than he had been following them AND his ex girlfriend was driving the car my Daughter was in.

Weve not seen police yet, all my daughter can remember was car spinning and air bags ddeploying then having to climb out of window. So we are still none the wiser.

Both cars ended up face to face (looked like head on smash but it wasnt)

What the hell has he done? Sideswiped them? And ehat about no skid marks?

Forgot to say, they were in left hand lane

I do hope your daughter is all right.

If this happened last week, why were the police not involved? OK, maybe no-one was hurt, but the ex-boyfriend seems to have commtted all sorts of offences.

Any independent witnesses?

Morning Avant

My Daughter is ok, however she did sustain injuries including soft tissue damage to groin and hips (seatbelt), bruised collarbone, back and neck injuries (whiplash) and a mild head injury. The worst of her injuries are on her left hand side.

All emergency services attended and the couple who stopped to help and rang police etc are also witnesses (they have dash cam footage too) They told my other half when he arrived at the scene that the ex boyf was driving like a maniac.

Weve still not seen police and my Daughter needs to give a statement as the events leading up to crash are fishy. He had been following them for 2 hours and there was a massive falling out after.

Has your daughter contacted the police to find out what's happening with the investigation?
