fan set on 4 setting blows very gentle fan made a noise , now, no air blowing , seems to be intermittent problems.

Yes,fairly common problem on these. fan motor has failed and/or the fan speed resistor has overheated and burnt out the connector plug attached to it. All easy and cheap fixes. Access to all parts from passenger footwell and behind glove box. It's the same heater unit found on a Fiat Punto.

question regarding this car, is the interior heater fan covered by a relay/ or fuse. I have followed a video requires removal of fan and clean Armature to make better contact with 'brushes' to make a clean contact, this I have done and replaced the fan with no life in the fan now
