Hi Forum,

I'm off to see a 65 plate Golf cabrio with Evans Halshaw in a few days, and the mrs is very keen on the website photos.

Can anyone please tell me would the car, when new, have been supplied with a windbreaker, or is this something a buyer would have bought as an extra.

And if it was supplied new, should I expect it to still be there, or should I get some discount if it's missing?

No idea i'm afraid, and when i looked on the Honest John review section it does not list the cabrio (to look at specs)?. But, on Ebay there are new wind deflecters from about £160 and this 2nd hand one at £115

Since posting my opening post, I have found this VW model brochure which implies it's included as standard for a SE & GT and an option on S models (We're looking at a GT).
