I have a 65 plate, 25k miles S3 and wonder if anyone has experienced the same problem.

Periodically, there is a noise from the rear when braking which sound as though you are driving over painted lines across the road. It does not happen all the time and the Dealer has looked at it twice and declared "No fault found"

The rear discs are not wearing smooth like the fronts but they are pitted and have some small grooves. Again the Dealer claims this is normal. The car has just had its first MOT test and passed with no defects. I am concerned that this may be a developing fault and I have extended the warranty.

I wonder if any S3 owners have experienced similar problems.
