Hi all

just done 90 motorway miles and get this on drive screen

"Drivetrain, Continue the journey at a moderate speed. Full performance not available. Have the problem checked by Service"

Pulled into services , restarted 10 mins later and all seems ok, it happened about 10 months ago also on the motorway not found anything about what causes it. Anybody had it before ?

I asked because I had an identical fault on my 2013 3 series estate, which does have adaptive suspension. It turned out to be a faulty sensor, and a very quick fix.

I have BMW extended warranty and i have just booked it in with the dealer, they want it for 2 days hopefully they will see whats wrong. just got to wiat 3 weeks

Car has been in to dealers and the results was Vanos solenoid was faulty so they have changed that and reprogrammed ( updated the ECU ) time will tell if its cured but the car is actually running better than i have known it, so it might have been faulty for ages
