Just bought a lovely 2009 CRV III. But sadly discovering the notorious roughness in the gears (1-2, 2-3) and a 'clicky' clutch.

I've been told it may need synchromesh change?

Any known remedies or advice please help. Lots of posts on this across forums and multiple ideas on possible fixes... But no definitive answer/s! Thanks.
