2009 ford focus mk 2.5 - Grommets - affleck

I am having the problem of a small leak into the boot, when I popped of the rear lights I noticed that there was a gromet for the wiring and below that was an oblong shaped hole, here is the silly question, should there be a grommet in there and if so is it a certain type or size. Assistance appreciated.
