Toyota Auris - Squeaky noise from one rear wheel - Benet

My 2010 Auris 1.4 (petrol) has been going well since I bought it in the summer, but when it's warm, after a 10-15 mins, there there is squeaky noise from the nearside rear wheel. It comes and goes but can be quite piercing. On a right hand bend I don't hear it, and I don't hear it when the brakes are applied. It's disc brakes all round I was thinking a worn disc, but I don't know. Any ideas welcome?

Many thanks

Could be a wheel bearing fault. It could also be a caliper slightly seized, or you just need the brakes cleaning and copaslip applying to the rear of the pads.

Get the wheel off pronto and check it out, if its a wheel bearing breaking up it doesn't want leaving.

While waiting to have this professionally checked I did jack it up and check the wheel. It was not wobbly which suggests it's not the wheel bearing, but the wheel was difficult to rotate by hand, even with handbrake off, so I am sure it's the brake sticking.

The upshot was that the rear pads were badly worn. I had them replaced and that restored quiet running
