Can you recommend a car with an upright seating position?

I've recently had an operation and my physio has said I need a car with an upright seating position, automatic with flat seat pan so hips and knees are level. Can you recommend some suitable cars?

Need a large and comfortable automatic - any suggestions?

I currently drive a BMW 318i Touring with a manual gearbox, but am struggling to fit into the car and use the pedals. I would prefer a more upright driving position, with more head and leg room. Any suggestions?...
