Need a large and comfortable automatic - any suggestions?

I currently drive a BMW 318i Touring with a manual gearbox, but am struggling to fit into the car and use the pedals. I would prefer a more upright driving position, with more head and leg room. Any suggestions?

I'd go for the 2 Series Active tourer 1.8d auto.
