Can you recommend a car with an upright seating position?

I've recently had an operation and my physio has said I need a car with an upright seating position, automatic with flat seat pan so hips and knees are level. Can you recommend some suitable cars?

To get a dining chair-like seating position you need maximum height inside the cabin, which means an MPV, not an SUV. Ford C-Max, Volkswagen Golf SV, BMW 2-Series Active Tourer. High-end models will have electric seats with squab height and tilt adjustment. Reliable six-speed wet clutch DSG with 2.0TDI in Golf SV, 6-speed Powershift in C-Max 2.0TDCI, 8-speed torque converter auto in BMW.
