Who provides traffic announcements?

I drive a 2018 Suzuki Vitara which I bought in 2021 and still remember the first time I heard a loud announcement in the car telling me 'Caution, A406 traffic disruption, speed 30km' It was quite a surprise...

Why has my VW satnav stopped giving traffic updates?

My satnav no longer picks up traffic, roadworks etc. VW tells me it is no longer supporting its own satnav. Is that genuinely true?

Why won't the traffic announcements in my Audi stay on?

I have an Audi TT, and although I select traffic announcements in the correct way, they usually turn off when the ignition is turned off the next time, and so I select for each journey. Any thoughts ?
