How do I connect a factory CD player to my daughter's Volkswagen Polo?
My daughter's 2001 Volkswagen Polo has no CD player in it. I can acquire a factory CD player. Do I need a code for it or can I connect straight in the back of the existing radio and is it as simple as that?

If it's the standard part then it should just be plug and play. I fitted a CD multiplayer into a year 2000 SEAT Leon and it was.

When I turn my Citroen Xsara to the left, the speakers make a loud "pop" noise and the CD player/radio cuts out. It has now got even worse, as when I go over a bump in the road it also happens.

Facelifted Polo III, still with an upmarket image. Better than pre-facelift and all now have power steering.
