My steering has got heavy and I can hear rubbing from the steering column. What's wrong?
My steering has got a bit heavy, and I can also can hear a rubbing/squeaking noise inside the car from the steering wheel/column. Now I can sometimes hear a slight click whilst turning the steering wheel.

Your power steering is starting to fail, but I can't tell you from this if it is the pump or the rack.
