2010 Mercedes-Benz E250 or 2010 Jaguar XF?

I have been looking at buying a 2010 ex-demonstrator Mercedes-Benz E250 CDI or a 2010 ex-demonstrator Jaguar XF 3.00 D Luxury. The latter gets a good write-up, but I fear Jaguar's residuals. The Mercedes-Benz will make a solid cruiser, but perhaps a little boring! I am retired and drive 5000 to 6000 miles per annum. I currently have a 325 SE, but fancied a little more room. I have a budget of around £30,000.

The Mercedes-Benz has a known problem with Piezo injectors. The Jag doesn't, and is much better to drive. Your low mileage won't help the DPF, but both of these cars have an additive-based DPF regenerating system.
