Should my son's used Honda Civic have been supplied with mismatched tyres?

My son has just purchased his first car, a Honda Civic 1.4SE from a Honda main dealer. The front tyres are not of the same brand. Is this acceptable and legal?

It's legal, but definitely not best practice.
