Why doesn't my warranty cover an oil-contaminated intercooler?

My warranty company has now agreed to pay for a blown turbochrger but not the intercooler, which the garage says now has oil in it. My policy states that the intercooler is covered but the warranty company says that it isn't.

The intercooler is not actually damaged so is not due for replacement under warranty. It just needs the oil from the failed turbo oil seal flushing out of it. Try Serck radiator services.
