Has the Volkswagen emissions fix caused an engine fault in my Passat?
On the 11 January I took my Passat 2.0 TDI DSG Highline into my local main dealer for the emission recall. Today the EMU warning came up with an "engine fault in diesel engine go to your garage workshop." I have spoken to them today and booked the car for the 15 February, the first available date. This is a bit scary but the two must be related. I will drive it for short distances in the meantime. Does anyone else have a similar problem?

Lots of people. The fix has probably clogged up the EGR and they will try to make you pay for it.

It's early days still, but since I had the emissions fix on my Volkswagen Golf 1.6 TDI I seem to only be getting 39mpg when I used to get 44mpg. Have other owners noticed any significant reduction in mpg?
