What tyres should I run my MINI Cooper on?

What brand of tyre, runflats or normal, should I use for a 2007 petrol MINI Cooper? It's currently on 205/45 ZR/17.

Sell the 17-inch wheels and fit 16-inch alloys with 195/55 R16V Runflat tyres or go to 195/55 V XL Michelin Cross Climate tyres which are not Runflats.

Great performance from Cooper S, much smoother and more sophisticated than first generation, capable of travelling distances in comfort.
