Is this new Volkswagen Phaeton a good replacement for my father's Mercedes-Benz S320?
My father is interested in changing his 2002 Mercedes-Benz S320 CDI (owned since new) to a pre-reg 2010 3.0-litre TDI Phaeton with 25 miles on the clock. It has £5000 of options and is priced at less than £30,000, and also can be offered with three years' servicing for £250. His annual mileage is around 8000. Is this a good buy?

Reads like a good buy, yes. Particularly as the Phaeton is actually the basis for the Bentley Continental.
