My Hyundai i30 still has a fault despite French Hyundai garages attempting to fix it. Should I return it to the UK?

You may recall that some weeks I approached you with a problem concerning my i30 diesel auto here in France and how I could not get a Hyundai garage to remedy the fault. An update. Two Hyundai garages here in Dordogne would not take on the work. The third, suggested by Hyundai UK, "had a go" and failed. The first time I got up at 0530 and drove to Bergerac for 0730 where they told me, after three hours, that all was well but that they wanted the car again for a cold morning start.

My wife and I drove to Bergerac one afternoon, left the car at the garage and found ourselves somewhere to stay. The next day we waited all day and at 1645 they said they could not find the problem, thought it might be the computer, said they had "washed the oil filter" and said come back another time if the fault continues. It continues. So about three hundred miles driving, an overnight stop costing nearly 100 Euros, waiting all day and no resolution. Hyundai UK and Hyundai Fr both seem disinterested and I frankly have no choice now but to return the car to UK for the repairs. Any suggestions, please?

No. No recollection of this. But if the car is capable of driving 300 miles then it must be capable of getting you back to the UK for whatever fault it has to be fixed under the UK warranty.
