Why is my Ford Fiesta Key not working?

I have a Ford Fiesta 2011 and all of a sudden the remote is not working,in fact the spare is also not working.

Have looked through previous posts and tried re-programming, turning key back and forth in ignition, it peeps etc and works for a while inside the car get out seems to work once then stops again.

Could it be my main battery, as changed on in one of the fobs and it is the same.
