Should I buy a Ford Mondeo 2.5 V6?
I have found a 2006 Ford Mondeo estate 2.5 V6 automatic for sale with only 36,000 miles on the clock. It looks immaculate and the mileage is warranted. It's on for £3995. Is this a good price?

That was a lovely car in its day and this one is asking an appropriate price for a top condition car that could eventually start to appreciate. Test of one here: www.honestjohn.co.uk/road-tests/ford/ford-mondeo-2.../ What to watch out for here: www.honestjohn.co.uk/carbycar/ford/mondeo-iii-2000.../
The only fly in the ointment is the road tax, which will be sky high due to the emissions of the 2.5-litre V6 petrol.

I'm looking at Ford Mondeo Estate 2.0 diesel circa 02-06. Which model would you recommend? And what mileage? (I was thinking 70-90,000) I want to pay £2500. Do they have DPF? Chain belt?
