My insurer disposed of my written-off car without my permission - what do I do?
Following a prang, my car was classed as a write off and was sent to be stored at a salvage compound. The insurance company refused to settle the claim and say they advised me by voicemail to collect car within days – I did not receive such a message. My car has now been disposed of. No settlement and no car. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Sue the insurer for disposing of your property without your permission. Sending a voicemail to you does not give them permission to scrap your car.
